Christmas is drawing near and with that comes all the festive events.

Island Farm Santa Parade November 21.

Centennial Square pre-parade celebration. 2:00pm - 5:00pm November 21. Come and enjoy carollers, performers, hot chocolate, crafts and musical performances prior to the parade.

University Library will be collecting financial and cash donations for The Mustard Seed from November 23 - December 11th.  Library fines will be waived by $2.00 for each donation up to a maximum of $20.00


Fasion's Night Out on November 26 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm. Fifteen local boutiques on lower Johnson Street will be participating. Ballots given for draw in exchange for nonperishable food donations until December 19th.


Legacy Gallery - Food and financial donations will be accepted from November 26 5:00pm - 8:00pm, November 27 & November 28 from 10:00am - 5:00pm at the following locations:  630 Broad St, 1203 Broad St, 104-860 View St, 665 Fort St, 1010 Broad St and 796 Humboldt St

Brun Body Bar - On December 3rd will be holding a Gala Rouge - yummy food, wine, entertainment, fashion show and silent auction.


Christmas In Cook St. Village - December 5th from 6:30pm - 8:30pm (after the Truck Light Parade) at Fairfield New Horizons 380 Cook St.  Event includes, Santa, real Llama, games, clowns, Luminara, prizes.

Global Christmas Celebration - December 12 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm in Centennial Square. Come and enjoy Christmas traditions from around the world with carols, dance, entertainment, treats and crafts all from all different cultures.


KOOL FM and Thrifty's; Food For Families. KOOL FM will broadcast live from Thrifty Foods 1495 Admirals Rd from 6:00am - 7:00pm from December 14 - December 18. Drop by and donate non-perishable food items and cash in hopes of filling a 5 ton truck donated by Budge Car and Truck Rental.

Harbour Towers Hotel & Suites; Have a need for a hotel room over the holidays - family arriving and nowhere to put them; book a room December 20 - December 27. Rates starting from $79 and $10 from every room being donated to The Mustard Seed.


Jingle Bell Rock Concert at Save - on - Foods Arena :December 21 8:00pm -  Jets Overhead, AFI, Tegan and Sarah. Tickets $37.50 + $.50 surcharge (for The Mustard Seed)

Pharmasave Compouding Pharmacy are set up to collect cash and food donations now until December 22.  Locations: 284 Helmcken, 230 Cook ST, 1646 Mckenzie Ave, and 10030 Resthaven
